Commission in charge of CHamorro language, history, culture is resurrected

The Commission on CHamorro Language and the Teaching of the History and the Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam are meeting this hour at the Guam Museum. The commission was recently resurrected after nearly 20 years with the former senator Hope Cristobal installed as chair. The commission is responsible for updating the orthographic rules of the language, standardizing it across the Marianas and developing a curriculum for schools.
