Commission on Chamorro Language meets at museum

The Commission on Chamorro Language and the Teaching of the History and the Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam met at the Guam Museum today. The commission was recently, resurrected after nearly 20 years. Former senator Hope Cristobal will chair the commission. They are responsible for updating the orthographic rules of the language, standardizing it across the Marianas and developing a curriculum for schools.
