An aerial shot of the Dandan region down south years ago would have shown a blanket of green intermittently broken by patches of brown. But now, it’s mostly blue that you would see as acres and acres of photovoltaic arrays have transformed the landscape—those deep-blue solar panels are catching and converting the sun’s rays into electricity.
