Craft beer is starting to catch on in Japan. Craft breweries emerged in the country only about 20 years ago after the Japanese government lowered beer brewery minimums from two million liters per year to 60,000 liters. Since then, companies like YoHo Brewing have started producing top quality ales. Yo-Ho was founded by Keiji Hoshino, who drank his first craft beer while he was an exchange student in the United States.
