Toward Self-Determination

In April we took our first big steps in the march to Chamorro self-determination. The Commission on Decolonization met, and we’re working together along with the academics at the University of Guam to educate the community on self-determination and the three options: statehood, free association, and independence.

On April 22, students from various high schools took part of the discussion in a debate. Three teams of students shared information on their chosen political status option and defended them.
